National Train Day Special Excursion to Duluth, MN

Three options are available — Train 1, Train 2 and Roundtrip.

Saturday

Train 1 departs Minneapolis Junction at 9:00 am and arrives Duluth in the mid–afternoon.

Return to Minneapolis Junction by chartered motor coach at approximately 7:30 pm Saturday. Ticket includes a box lunch en route.

Adult fare: $89 each
Seniors and Child fare: $79 each
Family (2 adults and 2 children) fare: $356

Shuttle service available 1 hour earlier than shown from MOA/28th ave Bloomington Park & Ride lot & $5 each. Return shuttle service available 30 minutes after train returns to Mpls Jct. & $5 each.

Sunday

Chartered motor coach departs Minneapolis Junction at 8:30 am for Duluth, MN. Train 2 departs Duluth at 12 Noon and arrives at Minneapolis Junction approximately 5:00 pm Sunday. Ticket includes box breakfast en route.

Child fare $79
Senior fare: $169 each
Senior x 2 fare: $253 (buy one Senior fare and get the second for half off)
Family fare: $422 (2 adults and 2 children)

Roundtrip

Ride the excursion train that departs Minneapolis Junction at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 11th, arriving in Duluth at the Depot Museum in the mid-afternoon. Meals and hotel are up to you. Train departs Duluth Depot Museum at 12 Noon on Sunday, May 12th, arriving back at Minneapolis Junction at approximately 5:00 pm. Overnight parking is available at Minneapolis Junction.

This means you will be riding the train both ways, with an overnight stay in the Duluth area. Hotel and meals are not included in the ticket price.
